CETAER, a company focused on scaling innovation projects within the transportation sector, has entered into a partnership with Técnicas Reunidas to construct an e-methanol plant in Almería, Spain.
The plant’s output is projected to be 37,000 tonnes annually of e-methanol derived from 7,200 tonnes per year of renewable hydrogen combined with 54,000 tonnes of CO2 captured from industrial processes. Commercial operations are anticipated to commence in 2026.
